Enrolment
The main entry points for enrolment at Mercedes College are:
Junior School:
- Reception
Middle School:
- Year 6
- Year 8
All other year levels where vacancies occur.
Process of Enrolment:
- Registration of Interest for Enrolment form should be completed and returned to the Registrar at the College as soon as possible
- Approximately eighteen (18) months prior to the anticipated date of commencement of the student, an Application for Enrolment will be forwarded to you for completion as positions become available. Most recent academic reports (Years 1-12), a Parish Priest of family reference, and a copy of the child.s Baptismal Certificate will be requested.
- On receipt of the Application for Enrolment, an interview with the Principal or Head of School will be scheduled before a position may be offered.
- In the event that a position is offered by Mercedes College and accepted by you, the terms detailed in the Application for Enrolment will form part of the Contract of Enrolment.

Orientation Walks
Orientation Walks for 2008 will be held on the following dates: February 13, March 12, April 2, May 7, June 4, June 25, July 30, August 20, September 17, October 15 and November 12.
If you wish to join an Orientation Walk with the Principal, Head of Senior School, Head of Middle School and Head of Junior School, please call Reception on 8372 3200 to register your name for the appropriate date. Information will then be sent to you with details of the morning's activities.
Scholarships
Mercedes College awards Mercy Scholarships annually, as a way of increasing access to enrolment to young people who would benefit from and contribute to, a Catholic education at Mercedes.
Scholarships, based on financial, socioeconomic and compassionate circumstances, are available for entry at Year 8 and Year 11. Criteria include the all-round merit of the student: academic ability, extra curricula interests and commitment to Church and community service. Scholarships are advertised in February/March of the year prior to the scholarship being available. The Scholarship selection process includes an application and an interview for shortlisted applicants.
