Parents and Friends Association

Mercedes College Parents and Friends Association (MP&FA) provides many opportunities for parental involvement at the College. A variety of social and fundraising activities are held throughout the school year.


Diamond Cocktail Party

Entry $35/head includes cocktail food, music and dancing
Drinks purchased from the bar, proceeds to MPFA

Other events include:

  • First Day Morning Tea in The Sunken Garden
  • Induction Day Morning Tea
  • Educational Evenings
  • Class Parties

Parents are encouraged to become involved in the MP&FA and are invited to attend the monthly meeting held at Strathspey, Mercedes College. The MP&FA is a great way to establish friendships and become part of the Mercedes community.

The Charter for Parents in Catholic Schools:

This charter was developed by The Federation of Catholic School Parent Communities (SA) in consultation with parents, principals and the Catholic Education Offices. It sets out ways by which all members of our community can work together to ensure that we create the best learning environment for our young people in Catholic Schools across the state.
