Suspension or Deferment for Overseas Students

Students can only defer their studies at Mercedes College on the grounds of:

  • Compassionate or compelling circumstances such as illness where the doctor's certificate states that the student is no longer able to continue with their studies for any period of time.

Suspension of enrolment can occur if:

  • Inappropriate student behaviour. An overseas student, as with a local student, must abide by the school’s rules and codes of conduct. If the overseas student clearly violates these rules then Mercedes College is entitled to suspend or cancel their enrolment.
