Support Services and Clubs

The College understands the concern of parents and the special needs of students living away from home in a different cultural setting. Students are provided with a range of support services.


The International Students Programme Coordinator (Mrs Kala Nathan-Thompson) oversees the ISP Team who provides specific assistance to international students:

  • English as a Second Language Programme (PDF 55KB)
  • College Orientation Programme
  • Monitoring academic performance and progress
  • Pastoral care and study support
  • Advice on subject selections and tertiary entrance
  • Liaison with parents
  • Organising social activities

The Accommodation Co-ordinator (Mrs Robyn Halliday) arranges homestay accommodation and also helps students with matters such as:

  • Reception on arrival in Adelaide
  • Visa advice
  • Medical insurance
  • Homestay placement and assistance
  • Day to day pastoral care

Additionally, the College has a range of activities and services to assist international students: English as a Second Language programs

  • A Careers Counsellor
  • The World Culture Club
  • Representation on the Student Representative Council
